Check your water heater and hot water supply to ensure the temperature is lowered to around 120 F. Not too low, but a few degrees will shave a little something off the utility bills and help offset the seasonal increase in electricity usage

Here’s a great fall plumbing tip. Â Once the leaves are done falling – make sure to clean out gutters, window wells and yard drains. The compacted leaves hold water and slow the flow of water away from your home. By cleaning these out you can avoid stoppages in your sewer and drain lines.
